Welcome From our Head of school

I am delighted to welcome you to Boxgrove Primary School, a happy and vibrant community based within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We aim to build life-long relationships with our families through being a supportive, friendly and nurturing school, with high aspirations for all of our pupils. We pride ourselves on the quality of our curriculum and the enriching opportunities children receive. We believe every child should be encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities, both within and outside the classroom.

The school motto of ‘with determination, we can achieve any goal’ underpins all that we do as a school. We are a school with big ambitions.  We work together to support children with their development as they gain knowledge, develop emotionally and develop a sense of citizenship, which enables them to succeed both today and in the future.  We value the strengths each child has and work together to address their needs individually, so children are able to thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Children feel happy, behave well and feel safe at our school.  This enables them to concentrate on their learning and creates an environment where expectations are high and where all children can achieve.

Staff at our school always put children first, which encourages our pupils to be creative, imaginative and then go beyond their potential.

Boxgrove Primary School has most recently been judged as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and we intend to use this success to further improve and offer the very best provision to all our children.

Thank you for visiting our website and we look forward to seeing you.  For prospective parents, please come and take a look around the school – we welcome everyone, without exception.
