Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week

Pupils and staff stepped out in style, wearing bright and mismatched socks to mark Odd Socks Day — a fun and meaningful start to Anti-Bullying Week.

The playground was a colourful sight as children and staff proudly showed off their odd socks, celebrating what makes everyone unique. The day encouraged pupils to embrace individuality and kindness, with classroom activities focused on friendship, respect, and standing up to bullying.
“It’s a simple way to start important conversations,” said Ms Osafo (pictured with her class and organiser of the week).  “Odd Socks Day helps children understand that being different is something to be proud of.”
Throughout the week, classes will continue exploring anti-bullying themes through stories, role play, and creative projects. Today’s joyful display was a powerful reminder that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and included.
